We live on what I call an "Urban Homestead"
It all started with a couple of chickens. Now it includes Turkeys, Quail, and Rabbits too.
We raise our chickens for fresh eggs. We garden and try to be as self-sufficient as possible.
When I buy ingredients I do shop local and get the best ingredients I can find.
I have always made jams and jellies. Over a decade ago, a friend got me started entering competitions the local and state fair.
I decided to sell my goodies since my friends are always telling me I should.
